It is a deep rooted goal of mine to improve the health of the community in which I live as well as the global community. The health of a population starts with its tiniest members. I love being able to make an impact on the lifelong health of a child as well as the community in which we live.
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful children. We spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, nature walking and doing all sorts of sports. I love cooking and focus on providing nourishing whole foods to my family.
I received my medical doctorate with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Chancellor’s Award) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. I graduated with honors from Centenary College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
I am one of the only pediatricians in Central Oregon also certified as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and have over 5,000 hours of hands on lactation consulting experience. I have worked as a general pediatrician and newborn hospitalist since 2009.
