Hope in Action

“There is still much work ahead. But we are not doing it alone. We are moving forward together… with a strong sense of hope for the future.” – Megan Haase, FNP, Mosaic Chief Executive Officer

For the past 24 years, Mosaic Community Health has been here for Central Oregon. This year brought real challenges. Higher costs, housing struggles and gaps in care have made life more difficult for many families. But we’ve also seen the many ways our community has come together—with care, kindness and a shared belief in what is possible.

As always, Mosaic thinks deeply about how we can not only reduce barriers to healthcare but also increase needed supports across the region for people who are struggling. We are welcoming more patients than ever before. Our patient community has broadened, helping us reach more people and provide care that respects each individual’s needs, culture and life circumstances.

Finding Hope, Together

“I’ve found a lot of people who support me. I know I’m not alone.” – Clementine, Mosaic Patient

For Clementine, starting middle school at the end of the pandemic was a difficult time. School felt unsafe, family conflict intensified, and an eating disorder became a way to find a sense of control and belonging. Clementine and her family were able to get that crucial care all in one place. Through Mosaic’s Redmond High School-Based Health Center, they found specialized support through Mosaic’s Pediatric Eating Disorder Clinic.

Delivering Hope: Mosaic’s Patient Fund

Sometimes, supporting a patient’s health means looking beyond the exam room. A humidifier, air purifier, pair of shoe inserts or diapers for a new baby can make a meaningful difference in someone’s health and well-being.

Mosaic’s Patient Fund helps our care teams provide essential items that aren’t covered by insurance or may be out of reach for patients experiencing financial hardship. Each item is identified by a care team as something that can directly support a patient’s health, safety or stability.
