More Than Medical: Highlights From Our 2026 Fundraising Luncheon

May 27, 2026

Guests dining together at Mosaic's 2026 More than Medical Fundraising Luncheon. The 2026 More Than Medical Fundraising Luncheon was a joyful celebration of community, compassion and the collective impact we can make together. Earlier this month, more than 200 supporters from across the region gathered at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon in Bend to share a meal, connect with one another and support Mosaic’s mission of providing quality care for all.

From the moment guests arrived, the energy in the beautiful, light-filled lobby was warm and welcoming. Attendees mingled, reconnected and previewed powerful patient stories that highlighted the importance of accessible, compassionate healthcare across Central Oregon.

Guests enjoyed a delicious family-style meal catered by Bowtie Catering Co., featuring colorful and nourishing dishes that brought people together around each table. The luncheon space was made even more vibrant with creative centerpieces from Somewhere That’s Green, with a portion of sales supporting Mosaic’s work.

Emcee Dusty Riley guided the afternoon with humor, heart and passion for the mission. “By loving Mosaic,” she shared with guests, “you are loving your neighbors. You are loving families. You are loving children. When we love Mosaic, we are loving the health of our entire community.”

Mosaic CEO Megan Haase, FNP, shared the organization’s powerful origin story, which began in Prineville in 2001 when a young Spanish-speaking farmworker family arrived at the emergency room with nowhere else to turn.

Emcee Dusty poses with Mosaic CEO Megan Haase.“There was no clinic, no advocate, no safety net,” Megan shared. “Just terrified young parents with a dying child.”

From that moment, a grassroots movement began to ensure no family in Central Oregon would fall through the cracks again.

Pediatric Medical Director Ellie Millan introduced a moving video about Mosaic’s Pediatric Eating Disorder Clinic and recognized the dedicated staff behind the program. She also highlighted the critical role Mosaic’s School-Based Health Centers played in helping a young patient, Clementine, access life-changing care and support.

The luncheon concluded with an opportunity for guests to invest directly in Mosaic’s mission—and the response from our community was truly inspiring.

Because of the generosity of attendees, sponsors and supporters, more than $83,000 has been raised to help provide medical, dental, behavioral health and social care to children and adults throughout Central Oregon.

Each guest also left with a small reminder of the impact they helped grow: a wildflower “lollipop” from Q Group, Inc. to plant at home and watch bloom.
