Delivering Hope: Mosaic’s Patient Fund

Volunteers assemble seasonal care kits with socks and other essential items for Mosaic patients and families.

Volunteers from First Interstate Bank and Bend Women for Good helped extend the impact of the Patient Fund by assembling seasonal care kits filled with essential items for Mosaic patients and families.

Sometimes, supporting a patient’s health means looking beyond the exam room. A humidifier, air purifier, pair of shoe inserts or diapers for a new baby can make a meaningful difference in someone’s health and well-being.

Mosaic’s Patient Fund helps our care teams provide essential items that aren’t covered by insurance or may be out of reach for patients experiencing financial hardship. Each item is identified by a care team as something that can directly support a patient’s health, safety or stability.

For a child with respiratory symptoms, an air purifier can help create a healthier home environment. For a young person experiencing housing insecurity, a weighted blanket can offer comfort and support better sleep. A rice cooker can make preparing nutritious meals easier for a family, while shoe inserts can help relieve chronic pain.

These supports may seem simple, but when a family is struggling to make ends meet, even a small expense can become a barrier to better health. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners, the Patient Fund helps remove those barriers—providing practical support, comfort and hope when it’s needed most.
